So, get out there and indulge in the summer heat.
OUR TOP SUMMER PICKS
Join Tourists at Pike Place.
It’s a tourist hotspot for a reason. Convenient (but good!) seafood, fresh flowers and beautiful sights of the sea. Why wouldn’t you want to join them?! Fun idea- act like a tourist yourself and add to the collection on the Gum Wall.
Take Advantage of Free State Park Days.
Wherever you’re standing from in the city, you can always catch a glimpse of the beauty that is Mt. Rainier. Grab a few friends and actually experience that wonderful nature during Free Parks Day.
Join in on some SeaFair fun!
If you’re opting for something more local, check your calendar off for those SEAFAIR events. From a 5k to a car show, there’s a little something for everyone. They vary in dates and activities, but there is always the guarantee of pleasurable entertainment.
Make a Trip Out of Alki Beach
Treat your next day off like vacation by taking a stroll along Alki Beach. You can even step into Marination Ma Kai for shaved ice when the sun rays are beating a bit too strong. If you’re a little north from Alki, try some Paddle Boarding along the Puget Sound, located in Ballard.
Attend One of The Annual Festivals
Ranging from food to music to beer. There’s sure a festival to catch your attention. The best part is they are located within the Greater Seattle Area. Check them all out here!
